Modern Protein Caramel Cookie Blondies

I like to snack; nuts, fruit, cottage cheese, peanut butter…  Lots of peanut butter, probably enough to be an actual meal….  But occasionally, or should say on the daily, I need something sweet even if it’s a small bite.  ModernPROTEIN has been my diet saver so many times.  If I need something sweet after my chicken and broccoli I’ll shake up a glass of Caramel Cookie Stix, and with only 2g of carbs it feels guiltless.   It tastes so good you can go through a 2lb tub pretty quick, so I recommend stocking up… you should see my kitchen cupboard.  However, many of you including myself feel that shakes are great but food… real food is better.  For those times you need to sink your teeth into something with a little more substance try our Caramel Cookie Blondies.

 

Ingredients

 

Dry:

  • Generic Pancake Mix Extra Fluffy (1.5 ModernPROTEIN scoops)
  • Caramel Cookie Stix ModernProtein (1.5 ModernPROTEIN scoops)
  • Dash Baking Powder
  • Dash Splenda
  • Dash Cinnamon
  • Dash Salt

 

Wet:

  • 1 Egg
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 5oz Applesauce
  • Dash Vanilla Extract

 

Topping/Filling:

  • 1oz Walnuts

 

Maria Protein

 Directions 

 

1) Pre-heat oven to 350 Degrees.

2)Combine all dry ingredients and set aside

2)Add egg, egg whites, applesauce and vanilla extract and use a hand blender to stir. Fold in walnuts as your last step

3)Use cooking spray to coat a 9×9 Pan and then use a spatula to drop the batter in the pan and set in the oven for 20-25 minutes (until completed and toothpick comes out clean)

4)Allow to cool 3-5 minutes, then cut into even squares or serve/eat as is.

5) Enjoy!
