Motivation comes from within and despite every shred of media, every ridiculous suggestion of the ‘secret to your success’, it requires will and the desire to overcome adversity.


There are no secrets. Not one.

Greatness is not a matter of chance, but of choice


The rousing pre-game talk by your coach does not push you to victory, it is the months and years of preparation that is key ingredient.


The clever graphic with the uplifting quote and the pretty model does not push you to lose weight and build strength and instead it is your commitment to a healthy diet and exercise plan that is crucial.


This may go against the grain of every conceivable marketing image of ‘motivation’ you have seen but what is crucial in this ‘mix’ is YOU.


You will determine your success.


Not a graphic.


Not a ‘hollywood’ script of an actor playing the role of a coach.


You determine your success and it is up to you to take hold of the opportunity and attack.


However when you come to the door of opportunity don’t tap lightly and instead kick the damn thing down, kick it right off the hinges and leave your mark.


There are no ‘tomorrow’s’ for victors, it starts now from choices you make at the dinner table, nutritional supplementation to how you exercise and ‘little’ matters that aren’t so little that assist muscular recovery. Every little piece to the great puzzle of optimal fitness and health is crucial but you have the power to re-shape your future.
