Ultimate Snickers Sludge


You’re not yourself when you’re hungry. For one, being hungry makes you feel weak, and after 3 hours of not shoveling some source of protein down your gullet, you can feel your gains melting away. Although your hard work won’t escape your grasp from a few hours of fasting, being hungry is not pleasant. Your local grocery store and fast food chains capitalize on the fact that if you’re hungry you may very well do something you’ll regret later; like ordering a dozen 99¢ tacos. Instead of sinking your teeth into nougat or some meat-like substance, try out this recipe. We think you’ll like it.


Modern Snickers Sludge



  • 2 Scoops of Milk Chocolate ModernPROTEIN
  • 2 Tablespoons of Fat-free Greek Vanilla Yogurt
  • Water, Fat Free Milk or Almond Milk (your choice)
  • Unsalted Peanuts
  • Sugar-Free Caramel Syrup


Mix the ModernPROTEIN and Greek yogurt in a small bowl. Add a small amount of your choice of liquid (water/fat-free milk/almond milk) and mix. Keep adding small amounts of the liquid of choice until you’ve reached a sludge-like consistency. Set aside.


In a glass, add half of the chocolate sludge, then add a layer of peanuts and then layer on some of the caramel. Repeat this once again. And… enjoy!
