Recipe: Citrus Grilled Chicken




Chicken is one of our favorite tools here in the Barbell Club but let’s admit it, it gets old quick. Give your boring chicken a simple, healthy twist with STRONG flavor! Fast, easy and simple ingredients make this recipe a must-have in your fitness arsenal.


Recipe: Citrus Grilled Chicken



  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 1/4 cup Orange Juice
  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp. Olive Oil


Preparation and Directions:

Mix together orange juice, soy sauce, garlic and olive oil. Place chicken in bowl or plastic bag, add marinade and coat well. Refrigerate a minimum of 1- 2 hours.

Pre-heat your grill and brush oil on the grill prior to cooking to prevent chicken from sticking. Once it is hot, toss the chicken breasts on your grill. Cook for 8-12 minutes, turning over half way through. Assure the chicken is cooked the entire way through by slicing into a thick piece and checking for uncooked portions.
