Modern PROTEIN Blueberry Cream Smoothie

Protein shakes have made dieting easier since …well since they stopped tasting like powered cardboard.  I however, find it amusing how many protein flavors there are.  Some can be interesting to try, but with a little ingenuity, you can create just about any flavor there is without having to strain over the choice of chocolate vs peanut butter chocolate for your post workout.

I’m a big fan of adding fruit to my protein shakes; let me ask you, "would you rather have a faux blue powdered blueberry cream shake", or a rich vanilla ice cream shake with real blueberries added.  Maybe your answer will surprise me, I do know many that favor something like Aunt Jamaica’s over that real straight-from-the-tree boiled sap.  Try this recipe if you’re looking to mix up your shakes a bit.





1 Scoop of Vanilla Ice Cream USPlabs ModernPROTEIN

1/4 Cup Frozen Blueberries

1/3 Cup Non-Fat Plain Greek Yogurt

1 Cup Unsweetened Almond Milk

1/2 Cup Ice Cubes

Combine all ingredients in blender.

Blend for 30 seconds and enjoy!
