Just got my tub in the mail of Jack3d Micro! Time to Beta this stuff.
First, as usual big thanks to everyone at USPLabs for letting me do what I do and trusting me enough to Beta another product. There were a TON of people in on this one, and I am blessed to be given the oppertunity to do what I do and give this product a unbiased and fair shake. Thanks to Nik O, Geoff and everyone else at USPLabs.
For everyone reading this:
I review every product with full honesty and 100% transparency. While USPLabs is in my opinion the best company in the biz at this time, I am not paid by them. I'm just a regular guy who knows a quality product when he takes it. When I Beta, you get the real deal. If it's crap I tell you; If it's badass, then I let you know. With that said, after seeing the first impressions on the boards, I expect nothing but excellence from this product, and it seems like people are legit getting great results from it.
Follow if you want, but just know that with me you get more than just product and training. I talk about my life, what I'm going through and how I'm feeling. This stuff effects us in the gym more than we think. PLUS I feel it is important for people to see the real me and why I do what I do.
Lets get to it!
ABOUT ME:
6'8" 285ish at the start.
Stress and diet ruined my gains over the last 2 weeks (mom passed away). This week was my first where I could lock my diet in and dedicate time in the gym. I dropped about 10 lbs. and got soft over the last 2-3 weeks.
TRAINING:
I do 5 days a week. FASTED TRAINING
Monday - chest, triceps
Tuesday - Quads
Wednesday - Back, Biceps
Thursday - Shoulders, Calves
Friday - Hams, Arms
Notice that I do bi and tri 2x week. I get the best growth this way.
My Training style right now is shoot for failure. On TEST Powder Beta, it was all about strength and constant tension (partials). Now for me it's all about feel and mixing it up both between sets and DURING SETS as well. You will see from me the following: Pyramid sets, drop sets, 100's rest/pause, full ROM followed by constant tension reps, high TOT sets and reps, and a few other tricks of the trade. The idea is damage in the shortest time possible. It's basically war each and every damn time I get in the gym.
DIET:
Clean, unprocessed or minimally processed foods.
Typical day:
Post workout -
6 whole eggs + 1.5 servings oats + 2 servings Honey
THEN
Beef Kabobs with a Kind Bar
THEN
Grilled Chicken + beef kakob with BBQ sauce. 2 slices ezekiel bread
THEN
2 kind bars or similar (Raw Revolution is badass as well)
DINNER
Lamb / Beef burgers
grilled veggies
Almond butter
Basically there is a list of foods I eat, and foods that I avoid. I follow that list each day. I don't eat Avocado (makes me sick), Wheat, processed wheat, white sugars, fruits that are not plums or berries, and any highly processed foods.
I'm in the process of starting to raise my own chickens and exploring meat production as well (lamb, goat, rabbit, beef). I'm just fkn tired of the bullshit companies put in our food and the inhumane way our food is treated. That view is not for everyone, but it is mine and I have the chance to raise my own food so I'm gonna do it.
Hope everyone gets something out of my posts. I look forward to getting this beta rolling!!!

First dose of Jack3d Micro Today:
Dose - As per instruction, 2 scoops
Flavor - I'm assuming Fruit Punch. Taste is similar to TEST Powder, but not as acidic.
Mixibility - Very Good. My one complaint with Jack3d is sometimes it does not mix completely. This mixes easy, no problems.
Notes:
Consumed 30 minutes before workout on an EMPTY STOMACH, as per fasted training.
Effects:
I really like the feel of this product. Great focus and energy without the hyper / jittery feeling sometimes associated with pre-workouts. Pump was very good.
During training it felt as if this product helped to keep my muscles in tension. Hard to describe, but basically I felt I could get deeper, fuller contractions on each rep.
SIDE EFFECTS: Sweated a ton. This really warmed me up. As a result, I hydrated like crazy while training.
Post training, maybe an hour or so later I noticed a bit of anxiety as well.
All in all a solid product that I look forward to running through the paces.

NOTES:
Good day today. This type of training is keeping my gym time down while still giving me a high workload. Chest and arms were shaky as hell afterwards, had issues eating my post workout meal.
POST WORKOUT MEAL (eaten at gym):
5 whole eggs, 3 slices turkey bacon, 1 Kind bar, 1 cliff Mojo bar
JACK3DMICRO NOTES:
good workout today. This stuff hits hard when you train fasted. Redness of skin and increase in sweat were noticed.
Again, this stuff seems to help me get a much fuller, deeper contraction. Taste and mixability both get high marks from me. Taste is very similar to TEST Powder but without the harsh acidity that can be present with TEST Powder. Mixed with a spoon today and had no issues. While this is still in BETA, I feel that this product is shelf ready as is.
Attached are pics from today.

I think it corresponds with the redness I have as well. I feels similar to a Beta - Alanine or niacin flush, but without the itchy tingles.I forgot to note this on my firsrt log. I noticed I was sweating a little bit more. Not profusely but definitely more than normal.

Smith Machine Leg Press (Duck Press) -
135 - 18 (7 + 3 hold at bottom / 5 Pace) Legs Wide
225 - 15 - (10 + 2 hold at bottom / 5 pace) Legs Wide
315 - 10 DROP 225 - 7 (1 Full ROM rep + 3 partials = 1 rep) DROP 135 - 10 (12 / 6 pace) Legs Wide
135 - 10 (7/5 pace feet CLOSE) + 8 reps top + 8 reps middle + 8 reps bottom (24s instead of 21s)
Leg extensions -
30 - 10 (done with 5 sec hold at top) + 10 (4/4 pace)
250 - 7 DROP 200 - 7 DROP 150 - 8 DROP 100 - 6 DROP 50 - 1 (25/25 TOT + 3 sec top hold)
100 - 1 (30/30 TOT) + 10 (3/3) + 1 (10/10)
NOTES:
This had my legs all kinds of wobbly. I work in the smith machine leg press to give my muscles something different. I didn't feel safe going past 315 because I didn't have anyone there to help with set-up (you have to roll your foot to take bar off of racks). The high TOT (time under tension) has really helped me out with mind / muscle connection. It allows me to focus solely on the muscle being trained. As you can see, I'm working a TON of different techniques into my routines. The goal is always the same though; Failure of the muscle group combined with short rest periods. I find it is a little easier when I do high reps, but at the same time I don't plan on the sets being high reps it's just that I push the muscle beyond the 8-10 reps. This training method is ideal for me and it lets me take advantage of all the things I like (drop sets, rest/pause, higher reps) with the things I don't like (full ROM reps and big TOT). I didn't get this from a book or website, this is all by feel. I don't go into a training session with any outline for reps or weight, it's all done by feel.
MICRO NOTES:
Mega intense training sessions on Jack3d Micro!!! This stuff has my muscles contracting harder and keeps my mind focused. When I take my Micro, the hood goes on and it's nothing but fking all out war. Tunnel vision is present. Focus is great. No jittery energy and no crash. I sweat like a damn pig and people stay away from me. There could be a damn bomb go off and I'll still be repping the weight (as long as gym is still standing).
Thanks to USPLabs for the chance to Beta this, but honestly this stuff is shelf ready as is. I feel bad because at least with TEST Powder I was able to contribute something (take with food pre-workout), but this is ready to go as is!
SIDE EFFECTS:
Increased sweat, skin flush. Gotta drink fluids when you take this! I recommend at least 20 oz while you train. I train fasted so I make sure to get 10-20 G BCAA in the water as well, and the results so far are great. Remember everyone I'm on a bit of a comeback. I fell off for a bit while my mom was sick (died two weeks ago) and before that I got a little depressed over my wife leaving me. However, I'm 100% focused now and ready for war!
DIET:
So far today:
Postworkout -
5 whole eggs
3 slices turkey bacon
2 slices ezekiel bread
1 serving almond butter
2 servings Honey
Lunch #1 -
6 oz chicken
1 beef kebob (4 oz. sirloin, onions, bell peppers)
1 Kind bar
BBQ Sauce
DIET NOTES:
I do not use protein powders. When I stopped using them, I noticed much less bloat. Therefore, I eat all my protein.
