Instant Training Improvement Tips: dedication, planning and compliance

The direction you are looking is the direction you are going.
This came to me a little more than twenty years ago during the time when my father passed away. At that stage in life, like many young men I was just learning the proverbial ropes in a rapidly changing world but in a flash some of his last words of wisdom provided me the direction and the knowledge that I can choose my own path and for that matter I can be the man I want to be.
That lesson has served me well as I have achieved far beyond what I could have imagined in both personal life and career as “that direction I was going” was further based upon what I believe to be life’s great cornerstones; faith, compassion, honourable intentions and unbridled passion and purpose.
Each of us has this within yet even I as the years go by I am shocked how most do not believe in themselves or for that matter, the greatness that lay within.
You have it. Believe.
With belief comes the need for readiness and decisive action with a structured plan of attack. Apply yourself with swordsman precision to possess the knowledge and resources to achieve your goals and then attack those efforts relentlessly with “purpose and intent”.
The journey I can guarantee you will be challenge but as you begin to understand this uphill battle you get a taste for the hunt, of knocking down challenges one by one. You can, you will.
Within goals of sport, health and fitness, goal achievement equally starts with belief and then requires a structured plan of attack and of-course compliance. Whether you are the star of the local team or fighting a personal war on obesity, “believe” as the direction you are going is the direction you are looking. Believe in yourself possibly more than you have ever in your life, set your course, follow your plan and push forward.
Personally, that requires a structured plan of
- Rising no later than 0500
- “50 / 50’s” (50 push-ups / 50 sit-ups)
- Morning chores
- A modest forty-five minute to one hour exercise routine before breakfast
- Breakfast, when at home, as rarely changed since my early days of youth with hearty supply of porridge and farm fresh eggs as the basis.
From there the day begins and with each moment, each second I pull closer to my goals. So can you.
You have it. Believe.
