It all started in Texas during the mid 1990’s, when then Texas A & M Nutrition student, Jacob Geissler began a comprehensive study of the world’s natural herbal compounds. Later, with the assistance of some top sports scientists, Jacob began a mission to get it right. Unhappy with current nutritional supplements, the group was searching for safe, natural compounds that would improve performance, appearance and everyday life. The discoveries were amazing. Techniques such as HPLC and Bio-Assayed Extraction revealed previously undiscovered scientific breakthroughs!
The initial breakthough came when Jacob and his team discovered a natural compound, that had been used for centuries in India as part of the Arvudyic Medicinal System, Cissus Quadrangularis, was demonstrating significant relief to discomfort that many athletes, bodybuilding and fitness enthusiasts were experiencing due to their aggressive training regimens. The herb was studied in great detail. Once the proper extraction method was developed to ensure the perfect product from batch to batch, The United States Patent Office issued USPLabs Patent #7,582,316 for the extraction used in SuperCissus RX!

We utilize equipment such as Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) and High Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC). We use this equipment both in the research and development phases while optimizing extraction procedures and for quality control to make sure each batch is as consistent as possible when it comes to the active constituent(s) of a given product. At times, we may also use preparative HPLC to isolate and purify certain novel compounds that are not required to be ingested in large quantities.
The end result is that we are able to perform optimized extractions which ensure that any given compound we are targeting due to its potential benefits is going to be present in our product at the highest levels possible. It also helps us to ensure that each time you purchase a bottle of our product, it won’t be a “hit or miss” situation where you only have noticeable results here or there, rather, you’ll have noticeable results with every bottle.
One final benefit is that we are able to give accurate expiration dates with our products. Did you know that a company could put any arbitrary expiration date on a product without actually knowing how long it will be good for?
